Looking at the poppler source and the error output, it seems like a font is missing. "Error: Couldn't find a font for 'Times-Roman', subst is 'Helvecita'." Do evince and poppler for Windows expect that some fonts are installed with the OS? Why does poppler assert when the error output indicates that a substitute font was found? Regards.
