I thought that this was working ... I now know it's not :)
mailto links in a pdf document with acroread work just fine (open a
gmail window in my browser).
With evince I get an "unable to open external link ... failed to
execute child process exo-open (permission denied).
If I try from a command line:
bob: exo-open mailto:[email protected]
It properly opens a new firefox window.
I'm using xfce4.
