I often have to flip (forward and backward) through large scanned documents in pdf format. loading pages takes a long time and evince stores only a few pages in memory. My computer has 96 Gbytes and 12 cores (for finite element calculations, sorry for bragging), so it could load the whole document into memory as soon as I open it. Is there: - a configuration file that I can change? - a dimension in the program that I can change and recompile?
