Aleeha, The link you provide is only from a file from the source code. The code is in a git repository in git.gnome.org/jhbuild Alternatively, you can download stable release from here: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/evince/ You can follow this instructions to build Evince from source: http://jaliste.blogspot.com.es/2013/04/the-jhbuild-experience.html About the environment, you can use a GNU/Linux distro like Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE or Ubuntu. Evince also can be built successfully for Microsoft Windows, but it is much more tricky. Hope this help you, -- Juanjo Marín _______________________________________________ evince-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evince-list
