Dear Evince developers, I'm a longtime Evince user under Ubuntu/Debian. Maybe a suggestion about epub support has already been addressed in the past, so I apologize for being repetitive here. However I find it's now compelling that an universal document reader (as Evince project claims to be) support such format. Several acclaimed scientific publishers (Springer) now deliver articles and books in epub format alongside pdf. Also the very latest Libreoffice 6.1 release has improved epub export functions. I find that a plugin for epub (and later possibly other formats) would be a nice idea to start with, to be followed by a later integration into Evince main project. I see there are many projects for epub readers in Github, so perhaps it won't be too difficult to implement such an idea. Thanks for your attention, best regards Jessica Alfonsi
