I was trying to install latests (few weeks old!! grr!) snapshot build
(for RedHat-7) to my machine (running mandrake 8.0) and stumbled upon
depency issue.
Some packages, for example libgal* and main evolution rpm, has a depency
for libgnomeprint11 and by default, mandrake 8.0 allready comes with
libgnomeprint15. (proof here:
[root@marcus evo]# rpm -qf /usr/lib/libgnomeprint.so.15
libgnomeprint15-0.28-1mdk
[root@marcus evo]#
What is bothering me about this that all depencies are tagged "=" and
not ">=" which pretty much limits the use of never libs.
