Hi I just added an ECache class to libedataserver, that implements a simple cache of objects.
It is done so that remote addressbook/calendar backends can easily have a cache of the objects already downloaded. I did a class based on it, ECalBackendCache which is specially oriented to calendar/tasks backends.
