The gnome-2-10 branch is now being used exclusively for the 2.2.0 release. Only show-stopper bugs, as listed on the 2.1 milestone in bugzilla, should be committed to this branch. Approval for these commits must be obtained from [EMAIL PROTECTED] *after* peer review on [EMAIL PROTECTED] as usual, and must be committed to both this branch and the main trunk.
The main trunk is still in evolution patch review mode, this is effectively where 2.2.1 development is continuing for the next 7-10 days. Patches for new features must not be committed yet (this covers bounty items for example). Once gnome 2.10 is released, EVOLUTION_2_2_0 will be tagged on the current gnome-2-10 branch, and the changes made since in the main trunk will be merged back to the gnome-2-10 branch. The gnome 2-10 branch will then continue to be the development branch for the evolution 2.2.x releases, which will be tagged as they are made. At this point HEAD will become the 2.3 development stream, and will be open to bounty and other patches not targeted at 2.1/2.2. Let me know if there are any questions. -JP -- JP Rosevear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Novell, Inc. _______________________________________________ evolution-hackers maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution-hackers
