Probably not a priority as it is fairly inconvenient in a gui mail client if say you have focus follows mouse and your mouse drops into the wrong window while you're typing something. A bit like trying to type into vi, when you are in command mode, and hit shift lock ... Otherwise I agree, it'd be nice. You can change the bindings in the share/gnome/ui/evolution-mail.xml file yourself though, if you want to do this (and change a bunch of other things too, like toolbars and menus). !Z On 31 Mar 2001 18:31:39 +0500, Vlad Harchev wrote: > Hi, > > Is it planned to support conventional single-key (i.e. without > modifiers) accelerators for commands as in console mailers like pine > (like 'd' for 'Delete', instead of 'Ctrl-d')? > > Both single-key and key-with-modifier combinations can coexist of course.. > And single-key combinations don't pollute existing bindings. > > That would improve usability of Evolution a lot IMO for people used to > console-based MUAs.. > > Best regards, > -Vlad > > > _______________________________________________ > evolution-hackers maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.helixcode.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution-hackers _______________________________________________ evolution-hackers maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.helixcode.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution-hackers
