Because if someone sends two messages at the same time through the same
transport, we get problems. For example, someone told me recently that
when he sent a message (when another mail was being sent - send &
receieve?), he had the body of one message inside another message. The
mutex locking should hopefully fix that.

Yep, I fixed camel to pass the tests. I only changed what I needed to in
the tests to get them to actually compile.
