Scrollkeeper is required by the GNOME documentation packages; it installs metadata files so that the Nautilus help bar can work.
The Evolution integration with Scrollkeeper and Nautilus is, I'm afraid, somewhat buggy, as is the documentation installation generally. We expect to have these issues resolved in upcoming versions.
