  I am unable to reproduce this 'and gives my mail alias' result. For me
the quoted name is the userid just mentioned. Yup, its a bug, but how
come you have it, and presumably few others or it would have been fixed.
  * Did you compile your own evo, and if so how, or is it from a
distribution?
  * Could you make a test account, (so no old gconf values or anything)
and repeat the login attempt?
