the "trash" folder is only a virtual folder which displays all messages
that have a "deleted" flag, no matter which folder they are physically
in. you can "expunge" a physical folder to permanently remove all the
messages that are flagged as deleted (="that you have deleted in that
folder"), but you cannot only expunge a specific email, as far as i
know.
