Thanx Matthew for the link and info.
I am trying to install it. I looked at your patch, and for a non
programmer and novice shell scripter, it seems I can change the 2.10
with 2.12, but the other commands seem daunting. I am using OpenSUSE
10.3 (uname -a: Linux 2.6.22.9-0.4-default #1 SMP 2007/10/05 21:32:04
UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)
and Evo 2.12.
At the moment I am trying to figure out how to change the ./configure's
configure.in from 2.10 to 2.12
It seems I need some evolution-plugin, which I thought this plugin I run
the ./configure from is that what is required; Any ideas?
I get the Error-message for absence of the plugin.

checking for REMOVE_DUPLICATES_PLUGIN... configure: error: Package
requirements (

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables
REMOVE_DUPLICATES_PLUGIN_CFLAGS
and REMOVE_DUPLICATES_PLUGIN_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
