Hello here!
I've Ubuntu 8.04 and Evolution 2.22.1.
Please help me set up address book over LDAP in Evolution.
My company says me to use these settings:
* Server Name: server_name
* Account name: logon_name
* Password: domain_password
* Log on using Secure Password Аuthentication
* Server Port number: 389
* Search base: dc=xxx,dc=yyy
In Evolution I set up:
Use secure connection: TLS encryption
Authentication
Login method: Using email address
Login: logon_name
Search base: DC=xxx,DC=yyy
Search scope: Sub
Search filter:
Downloading
Timeout: 1 minute
Download limit: 10 cards
I really don't know what to put into Search scope and Search filter.
I don't know what secure connection should I use.
As result I don't have any contacts in the list, I don't have any
autocompletion (mark in Preferences).
Please, advise me.
