More info:

1) Stopping evo:
evolution --force-shutdown
Shutting down evolution-data-server-2.22 (Evolution Calendar file and
webcal backend / Evolution Addressbook file backend)
Shutting down evolution-alarm-notify (Evolution Calendar alarm
notification service)

2) Starting evo manually from a terminal:
CalDAV Eplugin starting up ...
evolution-shell-Message: Killing old version of evolution-data-server...

3) Giving imap password in popup.

Adding a new email address and starting a new mail: Result: The
address bok is empty)

Terminal output:

5) Back to mail and the to contacts: The error on the crashed
addressbook given earlier is displayed. 
No more terninal output.

6) Stooping evo:

Shutting down evolution-exchange-storage (Evolution Calendar Exchange

I will file a bugreprt later, it seems you have to register to do that.
