Not that I have any knowledge of the internals, but the error message
just seems to indicate that the evolution-exchange plugin has crashed.
If you're not using the exchange functionality (for Exchange 2003
servers via OWA only) then you won't notice any problems, as you've
indicated.

As for actual bug-hunting and stuff... that's up to the gurus around
here.
