I'm sorry, I do not understand this much. Did you restart and then you
were asked for a new password or didn't you restart and you were asked
"suddenly" for a new password?
Either way, I guess, if evolution-exchange recognizes failed login, and
server returns proper value (like invalid credentials), then the
evolution-exchange is "clever enough" to know what to do next. :)
