I'm assuming you mean not a search folder. That means it's a different real folder, hence the messages are being copied. Evo uses the IMAP model (even for local folders), where there is no "move" operation, only "copy+delete" and of course "delete" means "mark for deletion and expunge some time later". First take a look at: http://www.go-evolution.org/FAQ#Why_do_I_get_an_error_.22Summary_and_folder_mismatch.2C_even_after_a_sync.22.3F If that doesn't help and the folder you're trying to clear is a local mbox file, the problem must also be local. The most likely candidates are 1) the folder is too big (Evo can't handle files above 2GB) or 2) you're out of disk space either on the filesystem where your mail is stored, or possibly on /tmp. If it's (1) then you'll need to shutdown Evo completely (as explained in the FAQ above) and then prune the file using a text editor. Ask again if you're not sure how to do this. poc _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
