Thx. But my problem is Evolution cannot download a message properly, not to
choose online or offline mode.

You may want to play with a property of the imap folder in question to
store a copy locally. Click on the imap folder, open the context menu
via right mouse click, choose Properties and check that mails be
downloaded in offline mode. See if that improves things.
