"Bogosity at maximum captain!" Using mail lists do *NOT* expose you to SPAM; that isn't how SPAMers work. There have been numerous studies about this - if you want spam (a) communicate with people who use Outlook [and have infected machines] or (b) sign up for corporate promotional e-mails. That is where SPAM harvesters are. Go to bing an search "[email protected]" and e-mail address I've been using on many lists for ~15 years. Oh my! And I included it in this message body! And am I inundated with SPAM? No. But I am easy to find. Not to mention this sentiment destroys the *POINT* of e-mail and other mediums - communication! Your notions about SPAM do nothing but diminish the value of communications and make your own life more tedious. > > Thanks to those who have helped.
