My version is 2.32.2. //T -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Novin <[email protected]> To: evolution-list <[email protected]> Subject: Error from address book all of a sudden Date: Tue, 01 Mar 2011 09:34:04 +0100 Mailer: Evolution 2.32.2 Hi I have two addressbooks, one local and one Google contacts. None of them works right now. If I search for something in these two: For 'On This Computer, Personal' Unable to open address book This address book cannot be opened. Please check that the path /home/x/.local/share/evolution/addressbook/system exists and that permissions are set to access it. Detailed error message: Timeout was reached For 'Google, My Gmail' Same error except: This either means that an incorrect URI was entered, or the server is unreachable. -- What does this mean? If I start evo from command line I can see these messages: (evolution:10398): libebook-WARNING **: e-book.c:3095: cannot get book from factory: Timeout was reached (evolution:10398): e-utils-WARNING **: Something called e_alert_dialog_constructed() with a NULL parent window. This is no longer legal, please fix it.
