Also, if I fiddle around with the URL, so that it becomes incorrect, e.g. by changing /caldav/ to /dav/ or /duvv/, the error message changes to: "Authentication failed. Server requires login". But should I really change the URL from that used with Lightning? I also tested with, and without, trailing slash. > > > > > > If I use system defaults for connection I get another error message: > > Server returned unexpected data. 2-Cannot resolve hostname. > > That sounds as if there is a typo... > Agreed. But the exact same URL works fine with other clients. If I paste it into chrome, the calendar events pop immediately. > > > > > > Could you please advise on how I can get this working? > > > > > > I have also read through this thread with a similar option, but it > > does not work for me to uncheck SSL. > > http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg16824.html > > > If it doesn't work, then I suggest you run the e-calendar-factory with > the debug options set as it says in at least one of the threads. > > P. > > Just did this. Unfortunately it did not provide me with an awful lot of extra information: (e-calendar-factory:23552): e-cal-backend-caldav-WARNING **: Server did not response with 207, but with code 2 (Cannot resolve hostname) (e-calendar-factory:23552): e-cal-backend-caldav-WARNING **: Server did not response with 207, but with code 2 (Cannot resolve hostname) When using gnome network settings and: (e-calendar-factory:23552): e-cal-backend-caldav-WARNING **: Server did not response with 207, but with code 301 (Moved Permanently) (e-calendar-factory:23552): e-cal-backend-caldav-WARNING **: Server did not response with 207, but with code 301 (Moved Permanently) When using direct connection. > _______________________________________________ > evolution-list mailing list > [email protected] > To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list > I am kind of stuck with this and appreciate any help.
