My locale is C: LC_ALL=C LANG=en_US.UTF-8 I did not consider the local language question important, that's why I didn't reply. My local language is Swedish. "default" is "förvalt värde" or "förinställt värde" according to my dictionary. I think we use "default" as well. BTW: I saw on another box (this one) that GNOME_KEYRING_CONTROL was set to /tmp/directory/ but not on the problematic one. Does this affect things? How to restart the gnome-keyring-daemon?
