Just a few weeks ago I configured a debian sid linux chroot environment on my ubuntu 9.10 karmic box, which has dropped out of support and must be considered "orphaned" as well. On fedora, there also exists chroot to create a separate environment, e.g. a fedora 14 system with gnome 2 and evolution 2.32 in it. So you don't have to switch to different computers/systems. I found the following link which might be useful as a start: http://parahard.blogspot.com/2011/06/five-steps-to-create-fedora-chroot-jail.html -- thomas _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
