Number 2 is a known bug reported as:
        https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=653957
and
        https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=651316
There is a fix (not available for Fedora-15 anywhere I can find) which
is planned to be released in evolution-3.0.3. This is one of the
reasons I would like to have and test 3.0.3 before proceeding further.
