Hi, I'm using Evolution 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10 to access my IMAP server.
The "automatically synchronize remote mails locally" checkbox under "mail accounts" -> "receiving options" is not active. However, Evolution obviously creates an mbox file containg every read message under ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/foo/folders/INBOX. Since I'm paranoid, I dont't want my mails being stored in the local filesystem. Is there any way to prevent Evolution from doing this? I've installed the following packages: evolution - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 evolution-common - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 evolution-data-server - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 evolution-data-server-common - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 evolution-indicator - 0.2.20-0ubuntu3 evolution-plugins - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 evolution-webcal - 2.32.0-1build1 libebackend-1.2-1 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libebackend1.2-0 - 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 libebook1.2-10 - 3.0.3.1-0ubuntu1~natty1 libebook1.2-12 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libecal1.2-10 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libecal1.2-8 - 3.0.3.1-0ubuntu1~natty1 libedata-book-1.2-11 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libedata-book1.2-8 - 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 libedata-cal-1.2-13 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libedata-cal1.2-10 - 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 libedataserver1.2-14 - 3.0.3.1-0ubuntu1~natty1 libedataserver1.2-15 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libedataserverui-3.0-1 - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 libedataserverui1.2-11 - 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 libevolution - 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 Greetings, Thomas -- ICQ: 7122237 Jabber: [email protected] PGP-Key-ID: 0x45C92FB5 _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
