can be either EWS bug, or even server side setup (I've a feeling I
noticed something similar with evolution-mapi some time ago too). If you
have "Edit->Preferences->Calendar and Tasks->Meeting invitations->Delete
messages after action" off, then, unless EWS does this on its own, the
server deleted the message.
