Hi,

I started using Evolution (version 3.2.2- GNOME desktop) as my default mail
client on a Debian system.
My Gmail account works well (IMAP) but unfortunately not my Yahoo account.
Subfolders are not displayed, other mail clients do not have a problem with
that (Icedove [Debian's version of Thunderbird] or Iceape Suite for
example). There is a folder 'Friend' but not its subfolders like 'Name 1',
'Name 2', 'Name 3', etc. The messages in these folders also do not shown up
in the parent folder 'Friends'. The same phenomenon with the other folder,
which has subfolders. All other folders are fine, having all the mails that
are supposed to be there.

I followed these instructions in setting up the IMAP account for Yahoo mail:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/20075/connecting-yahoo-mail-with-evolution

http://www.ubuntubuzz.com/2011/06/6-step-setting-evolution-for-yahoo-mail.html

Here are my account settings, maybe I did something wrong, even though
other mail clients work fine with this configuration (This is a translation
from German so bear with my bad English):

mail address: [email protected]
server type: IMAP+ (same behavior with IMAP)
imap.mail.yahoo.com (tried adding :993 to server name,
didn't work)
port: 993
user name: myname
encryption: SSL encryption
legitimation: password

server type: SMTP
                     smtp.mail.yahoo.com
port: 465
user name: myname
encryption: SSL encryption
legitimation: plain text

Set are the following options:
    - look for mails in all folders
    - use 'fast synchronisation'
    - use 'idle'
    - sync remote mails automatically

Thanks very much for your help,

Pascal
