"Error while Generating message list" appears in a bright red message when I search through my email for a particular string.
This is for Evolution 3.0.3 running under Fedora 15, specifically, Linux version 2.6.43.8-1.fc15.x86_64 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.6.3 20120306 (Red Hat 4.6.3-2) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Mon Jun 4 20:33:44 UTC 2012 The error seems strange for several reasons: 1. The text says Cannot get message 1350509457.9000_32475.localhost.localdomain from folder /home/dfc/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/. No such message but there is a file with name ./.local/share/evolution/mail/local/..2012/cur/1350509457.9000_32475.localhost.localdomain:2, that is present and is readable and has a message inside 2. Using CAMEL_DEBUG I find a plethora of errors starting with (evolution:3129): camel-WARNING **: CamelMimeMessage::construct_from_parser_sync() set its GError but then reported success I can report the rest of the info contained in the log file if that would be helpful for figuring out what might be wrong. 3. I removed all the folders.db files I could find and forced a database rebuild but that didn't help. 4. Most surprising to me: The specific text I was searching for was "amazon.com" but When I search only for "amazon" I do not get the error at all. If anyone has any advice on how to heal this error I'd appreciate your help.
