OK. You'll have to look at your POP settings on Evolution - I'm not a POP user, but I think there's a setting to only download new email - once another application has "seen" your email (i.e. the smart phone one), that email is no longer counted as "new" and might not be downloaded. If you are using multiple methods of getting to your email, then you are probably better off using IMAP and not POP.
