The chap on the Sabayon forum has been very helpful, and with his aid I've managed to get the agent running, and seemingly done everything else necessary to allow Evolution to decrypt email. However the same problem remains and at this point I'm preparing to abandon the distro altogether (I have other issues with it too). I'll try another distro and see how I get on. Kind regards, Huw
