The answer in that link says
"This bug is fixed from version 3.0.2 (stable series) and 3.1.3 (unstable 
development series) Evolution. If this is not the case, add a comment to the 
report for the bug."
but i am not sure how that helps.  Does the problem fix itself if the newer 
version of Evolution is downloaded from the Evo website and just installed.  
Would that fix the corruption?  Does it rely on the user restoring from a 
back-up?  (which would actually seem reasonable to me.  Although the way i 
wrote that makes it sound like i'm accusing someone if something i'm not 
really.  I am just asking).
