Thanks to Ed Greshko <[email protected]> on the Fedora Users list, the correct incantation is: xdg-settings set default-url-scheme-handler http google-chrome.desktop xdg-settings set default-url-scheme-handler https google-chrome.desktop Note: My "default-web-browser" setting was already correct -- presumably it had been set by KDE Settings -- but didn't solve the problem.
