Do you have gnome-keyring installed?

After the capability checking evolution asks for the password through dbus and if there's no secrets service, the background thread simply hangs. No error, no local password dialog. No hints at the other side of the connection, either. I was bitten by that problem and it was hard to realise what was happenning. Svante, evolution requires a org.freedesktop.secrets provider. Usually gnome-keyring-daemon or kwallet (other programs also providing that interface should work as well, but I don't know of more). _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
