These deb files you refer to, where do they come from? If I understand correctly, Evolution 3.18 is in the gnome3-staging PPA: https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/ubuntu/gnome3-staging?field.series_filter=wily However, look at the discouraging description of the PPA: https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/ubuntu/gnome3-staging That is why I have only enabled the main gnome3 PPA: # add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 I have skipped the gnome3-staging PPA, which would be added with: # add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging I am waiting for Gnome 3.18 to arrive in the regular gnome3 PPA. But my option is not normative. I am not very knowledgeable about these two PPAs. If you decide to enable gnome3-staging and after a week you do not hit any bug, please tell me about it. English is my second language, so I would like to be warned about any English mistake. _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
