        Hi,
it's partly addressed for the evolution-data-server 3.20.0 and
evolution 3.20.0, where the OAuth2 authentication for Google had been
implemented directly in the Evolution. With that you can create the
account in few simple clicks:
a) File->New->Mail Account
b) enter name and GMail address, keep "Lookup settings" checked
c) next page will show the ending page with prechecked "with calendar"
   and "with address book"
d) Next page is just for Finish, which then opens a window with OAuth
   authentication and that's all. The token will be used for all
   Mail, Contacts and Calendar (and Tasks), if picked too.

That is, 3.20 will make it even easier, with no need to use GOA (GNOME
Online Accounts) for GMail accounts.
        Bye,
        Milan
