could you compare the content of the two files and see whether the new
files were not deleted from the disk on Expunge or some other file(s)
changed their size and which they are, please?
By the way, in the case of the folders.db file, it is not vacuum-ed
(SQLite term) automatically in your version, a change for it landed
later and depends on other conditions, described here
