Looking at the links I posted, this looks like a workaround: In preferences, edit the IMAP+ account that's having problems. In Receiving Options, set the number of concurrent connections to use to 1. According to the notes I've read, this may not eliminate the problem altogether but should substantially reduce the frequency of the error.
