Hi,
the Gmail is a pita. It works with a different IMAP server for me as it
should (the phrase quoted), but fails with Gmail.
Probably file a bug report in GNOME's bugzilla against evolution-data-
server, maybe there will be a workaround or a fault on the IMAPx side,
or anything in between. It needs deeper investigation.
