Thanks for both responses to my post. I have used evolution for many years on various versions of Ubuntu, but am new to evolution-list. I just found the site when looking for a fix for the printing issue. When I replied to your message, I used evolution and reply to sender, however I changed the subject line, trying to follow the instructions that evolution-list includes at the beginning of each message. This time I used Ctrl+L and did not change the subject line. I hope it works better for you, Milan. Before trying to run evolution through the terminal again, I opened evolution the normal way from Ubuntu's dash and tried to print an HTML message. Evolution closed after I clicked print in the print dialog box. Next, I ran evolution from terminal, which worked OK after I included --ex r in the command. Sorry about that. Printing was successful for both HTML and Plain Text and I could not make evolution crash. I used File Close to close evolution and the terminal indicated that it closed normally. I then opened evolution from Ubuntu's dash and everything prints normally. I can not make the program crash when I print either HTML or Plain Text. I am at a loss to explain this result, yet evolution appears to work OK. Andre, you said that installing the corresponding debug packages is welcome. Do you suggest that I install additional packages? If so, please give or point me to specific instruction. Do you still recommend that I obtain a stacktrace?
