Hi,
that's true and Evolution in Fedora has that plugin disabled:
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/evolution.git/tree/evolution.spec?h=f26#n243
It's possibly related to:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=521662
There are some (private) comments about poor code quality of the
libytnef (dating back to 2010), which might be the reason why it had
been disabled in Fedora. Maybe I can enable it and split it into a
separate subpackage, then it will be installed only if needed by the
user. If you do not mind, I'd rather do that with a reference to a
Fedora bug, thus it'll be searchable and will have some history, thus,
if you can, file a bug in Fedora's bugzilla against Evolution to enable
the ytnef plugin, please, and I'll do it.
Thanks and bye,
Milan
