v3.20.5 Backups are every 3 or 4 months to capture emails + attachments. So, I gather that there are no file size or segmentation issues that would limit the size of produced evolution-backup.tar.gz files? Thanks.

Happy New Years. Glenn You don't say what version of Evolution you have. Please *always* state this when asking questions (Help->About). As has been discussed several times on the list, the Backup function is really a misnomer. It's not intended for regular daily backups but for capturing the state of your mail (and only your mail, not contacts, tasks, address book etc.) when moving to a new system. You should use a standard home directory backup strategy as well as (or instead of) this function. That said, the backup is just a big tar.gz file with the local state in it. If your file won't grow beyond a certain size there might be a limitation of some kind in your system, such as maximum file size or disk quota. poc _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
