Hi,
I see, so you do not want the Today be "Today as the whole day", but
"Today as the time from now till the end of the day", where the 'now'
is moving forward.
That might be doable, even it means "flickering UI", which is not
always good to do. A case of running Evolution late and seeing that
some event had been missed (for a traffic jam or whatever) might be a
good side effect of the current behavior too. I'm also not sure whether
it would need an option, in case someone would not like it. Neither
what other users would prefer.
