Xubuntu 18.04.02
Evolution 3.28.5-0 (Help | About reports it as "3.28.5-0ubuntu0.18.04.1")
I realize this isn't the absolute newest version, but it's not that old and
was working prior to the last group of updates. Honestly I don't recall if
Evo changed or not, however. When I launch it I get this error for both
Google mail accounts I'm accessing via IMAP:
Failed to connect account “xxxx...@gmail.com”.
The reported error was “Failed to authenticate: The name :1.6 was not
provided by any .service files”.
I've seen this error before but not since 3.23 on Xubuntu 16.04 (which if I
recall used a Gnome service for Google mail which is no longer the case?).
I've stepped through the Google authentication process but the error
persists. Apparently my Google-fu is weak today and searching has turned up
nothing applicable.
Any pointers?
