Hi,
unfortunately not. There had been done some changes in the editor code
since yours 3.28.5, the current version is 3.32.4, while 3.34.0 will be
released later this year. Maybe if you had exact steps, ideally
starting with an empty message, then it could be tested with more
recent version of Evolution. Eventually, if you can use Flatpak, then
Flathub offers the recent stable Evolution version (using Flatpak has
its caveats too) where you'd be able to do some initial testing of the
latest stable version.
