As far as I can tell, no print settings at all are retained between invocations of printing, in particular "Scale", which annoys me a lot, since the default scale is much too large; I have to set the scale to 75% each time I print anything. It would also be nice to have a preview of what is to be printed as the name "Print Preview" implies. The old page I linked to gives an indication of what a proper "Print Preview" page might look like.
Milan Crha writes that a bug in webkit, also old, going back to 2012, makes fixing any of this difficult: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79226 I have just experimented with changing "scale" in /home/jonrysh/.local/share/evolution/printing.ini from 100 to 75, but it seems to make no difference. Maybe a difference will show up when I reboot the system. > > If not, is there a plan to make the settings remain constant between > > invocations? > > http://web.mit.edu/ghudson/dev/evo/ev/share/gnome/help/evolution/C/usage-print.html > > > > No idea which settings this is about. It certainly looks like there are no plans (8-( jon _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list [email protected] To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
