Hello Douglas If those colors are kept in the cache, that seems a bug. Please open a bug in https://gitlab.gnome.org to keep track of it. Although, I should say it seems a bad idea to do that, as that will require re-downloading every session many emails that would otherwise be cached (unless perhaps if you pretty much almost never reboot).
