I got the latest build from CVS and ran the configure script. It asked for GAL 0.5.99:
checking for GAL >= 0.5.99.12... 0.5 found
You need GAL 0.5.99.12 or later to build Evolution
I can't find a mention of gal 0.5.99 anywhere. It's not in rpmfind (the highest Helix
version is "gal-0.4.1-0mdk_helix_1-i586.rpm"). There is a 0.5.1 package there, but
nothing higher
