Hi Michael,
I seem to be having a similar problem to you. I am able to add contacts (via the add 
contacts button in the contact view) but I am unable to delete, or edit contacts as 
you mentioned. I am using the same snapshot as you. I am interested to know if you too 
have the problem of the import box reoccuring every time evolution is started also..
